Nov 22 Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!! Kimono Angels & Messengers!!!

So the HOLIDAY SEASON is upon us already... hope you are all ready... We have just UPLOADED Pre Ordering INFO on two upcoming RanD ANgels releases - "Oshugatsu Retro" & the follow up to Gabriel, AKIRA! Coming out mid DECEMBER of this year -just in time to ring in the New Year - are these Angel and Mensajero clad in kimono fashions. Snow Hiroko is dressed in a bright polka-dotted kimono - from her kimono fabric to her "bee-hive" wig, everything screams - RETRO!!! About 10 pcs will be avaialble as a dressed doll, while 50 sets will be available as a separate fashion only!

AKIRA, the 2nd boy in the Mensajero line, with his a brooding Japanese look is dressed in a Japanese print, blue yukata-style kimono, topped off by a black coat. A separate fashion will be sold in a brown/copper color.

Well, it is officially the Fall Season.... school have restarted again.... our FAVE shows starting their new seasons' soon... and the welcome change in the weather for us here in Taiwan is already apparent.... Yipppeee!!! We just got back from a fabulous time at the Dollz In Oz Convention in Australia.... not to mention a bit of sightseeing in Sydney and Melbourne... The Convention Luncheon was so much fun... Lisa Scully did a GREAT job putting it together.... we highly recommend the next one.... We now want to take this time to introduce to you the Berry Lolita Fashions.... these fashions debuted at the Dollz In Oz convention and we just now have them available for all of you... the fashions are LIMITED to 50 sets each color variation -- and the color choices are pink and white gingham or red and white gingham.

April 22 Back from GAW!!!
Greetings to you all.... hope all is well in your neck of the DOLLYWOODS.... enjoying SPRING and having just CELEBRATED a very nice EASTER BREAK! we are FInally back from our first ever, "OFFICIAL" Convention - GAW 2006 in Detroit. It could not have been the BEST choice for us -- we were TRULY made to feel welcome, not just by the wonderful folks behind it, but as well, by all the wonderful people who attended.....

It was so very nice to see so many familiar faces... and to have met many more.... always good to put a face to the names we otherwise just know from emailing. Here's hoping we get to meet more of you in some of the UPCOMING CONVENTIONS this year.

Introducing… SUSIE

2003年7月SUSIE首次與玩家正式見面，她成功地在許多人心田裡烙下不可磨滅的深刻印象！SUSIE來自 R&D Fashion Dolls創辦人--Rudi Teruel和 David Wu兩人的心血結晶，結合收藏時尚娃娃，和銷售世界各地娃娃品牌的多年經驗，Rudi和David期盼推出特別以亞裔為背景的時尚娃娃，塑造她獨特的文化生活背景，融合東西方最優的設計和概念素養，他們希望SUSIE呈現現代流行的平凡女孩形象，同時踏實謙虛地以古老傳承為傲，透過她來彰顯原創者的人生哲學，從日後的各種服飾變化，便可窺探出縈繞在亞洲傳統的影子。酷愛旅行的同時，賦予SUSIE混搭的背景，讓她能在時尚世界裡盡情地揮灑盡情地揮灑，成為最亮麗的年輕模朵！由此開始，SUSIE在環繞世界的精彩旅程中，藉各地文化洗禮，呈現不同的服飾創意，希望每一次與玩家的接觸，都令人驚嘆且興奮不已。

許多精力和時間的投注，終於讓SUSIE即將現身，原始的臉模塑雕、頭型的變化，甚至臉龐的彩妝都為未曾馬虎，她的獨特形象完全原汁原味，臉上的妝讓人難以辨識其種族源流，全身散發一股世界風的融和感覺，不同顏色妝扮和髮色增添她的神秘感，自然地轉換不同神韻和味道，R&D和許多玩家一致認為她的獨特美是最大賣點！總之，玩家很難再找到像她這樣，一舉手、一投足便有萬種風情的迷人娃娃。SUSIE為1/6體型娃娃，約11英吋高，且為活動關節，Rudi和David選擇這樣的身形，讓她可輕易擺設各種姿態，相當適合拍照上相，手肘及關節均可彎曲，腳和手腕處也可靈活轉動，腰際間同樣可做適度旋轉。

    SUSIE在去年7月美國德州達拉市舉辦的International Fashion Doll Make Over Convention裡首度曝光，雖然只展示少數幾款原型，Rudi 和David 也徵詢現場玩家的個人意見和感想，許多人表現出萬分喜愛的熱情，總算令人覺得不需這美國之行。即使在會場眾多時尚娃娃裡，如Jason Wu的〈冠冕皇室〉、Integrity Toys、 Robert Tonner的完整新款系列有Tyler,    Betsy, Brenda Starr，以及 Mel Odom的Gene和其友人娃娃，以及從不缺席的芭比等娃娃等各據一方，不少造型搶眼的個人創作款更贏得滿堂風采，SUSIE仍可以其獨特之姿，獲得現場玩家青睞，讓我們備感欣慰。Susie得到廣大玩家的肯定迴響後，SHERRI和DAVID BUTTRY兩名玩家，更率先開啟了Yahoo的俱樂部ALL ABOUT SUSIE，兩人對於SUSIE的喜愛，讓這個俱樂部快速成長，至今已超過350會員加入。

    2003年冬季首款系列，揭開SUSIE的絢爛世界，〈舊金山時光〉 San Francisco Days透露SUSIE的身世背景，出生在舊金山並就讀於當地Fashion Design school；〈紐約夜迷〉New York Nites則是發掘她成為時尚名模之地，兩款服飾造型皆有時尚的趣味性；火紅髮色和烏黑皮衣的炫麗造型搭配高統拉鍊式皮靴，讓SUSIE遠赴東京參加電玩記者會時，身為代言人的身分成為會場勁爆的焦點，<急速東京>Tokyo Trendy徹底讓SUSIE展現科技超現代感；另外一款原創形服飾是參加學校設計比賽的成果，以亞裔美人的傳承為主題，SUSIE成為俏皮可愛的〈中國女孩〉“China Girl”。

    2004年來臨之際，Susie將飛越大西洋到倫敦出攝影外景，以龐克流行的裝扮，挑戰玩家的視覺；〈倫敦采風〉London Calling走的是懷舊的復古風，將拜訪” 知名的Carnaby街道！她也會出現在中國北京，慈善的流行盛宴 〈北京搖滾>Beijing Rocks”；此外，SUSIE更有機會為義大利設計師走秀，炫耀登場於時尚周是〈 米蘭潮流〉。.

 隨著拜訪城市的足跡，SUSIE總是走在流行尖端“Always On the Go!  Always In Style!” 可是她的人生格言，所以歡迎來到SUSIE的夢想旅境，藉由她來重新發現世界的美妙之處。
